Southwestern Oklahoma State University participates in both program accreditations and institution accreditation. Accreditation is the process of participating in a peer review program in which external quality review teams and organizations ensure that ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ follows regulations and best practices in offering quality education. ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ has 14 programs that are nationally accredited. At the institution level, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.
