New Students / Fall

Congratulations! You’re on your way to becoming a bulldog!

You are about to embark on a life-changing journey, and we are excited you have chosen ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ. It will not take you long to realize how you fit in at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ and that it is the right place for you!

What is New Student Orientation?

New Student Orientation (NSO) is designed to help new students learn more about college life at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ. We offer several different events and programs to help students get familiar with campus, enroll in classes, and connect with other students.

NSO begins with a New Student Orientation & Enrollment Session. Dates for these events begin in April and occur throughout the summer, as well, so there are plenty of opportunities to come to campus and get enrolled!

Welcome Week activities & the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵConnect course are also part of the NSO experience. During Welcome Week there are opportunities to meet new friends, find ways to get involved, and explore more of what ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ has to offer. All incoming freshmen students are required to take ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵConnect during their first semester. This course provides ongoing support throughout the entire first semester from caring instructors and Orientation Leaders (OLs) who will ensure you understand the ins & outs of college and encourage you to do your best!

New Student Orientation & Enrollment Sessions

NSO Enrollment Sessions are the first step toward becoming a Bulldog! All incoming freshmen must attend an NSO Enrollment Session to enroll in classes. At the session, you’ll have a chance to learn more about ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ services & resources, visit with various campus departments & representatives, and get your ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ student ID.

All NSO Enrollment Sessions begin at 9:00 AM in the Pioneer Event Center.

The New Student Orientation staff looks forward to
connecting with you as you become a Bulldog!
